It is most often seen in runners, pregnant women, people who wear shoes that do not support their feet, and overweight individuals. Normally, it is only a stabbing pain that happens in the heel of the foot at the beginning of the day, with the first few steps you take. Then, the pain eventually fades as you continue walking. The pain is also only, usually, felt in one foot, but it is not impossible to feel the pain in both feet. Call our Chiropractor today to get information on how medication, physical therapy, shock wave therapy, and possibly surgery can help you with the pain and discomfort of Plantar Fasciitis.
