ADJUSTMENTS/ MANIPULATION

The term "adjustment" refers to the specific manipulation a Doctor of Chiropractic applies to spinal vertebrae that are out of their normal alignment, have abnormal movement patterns or fail to function normally. The purpose of the chiropractic adjustment is to correct, reduce and restore the misaligned spinal vertebrae which are called vertebral subluxations. Correction or reduction of vertebral subluxation results in an increased range of motion, reduced nerve and spinal disc compression and improved function.
